Educational Objectives:
The major in Public Administration aims to cultivate students with a comprehensive understanding of foundational knowledge in the areas of political science, management, law, economics and other fields, as well as a systematic grasp of theories and methodologies in the discipline of public administration. The program aims to develop students' capacity for applying theories of public administration in local and international contexts, mastering practical skills related to public administration, and conducting independent research in the areas of public administration, public policy analysis, government performance evaluation, big data analysis, and e-government. Graduates are expected to possess broad employability and a sharp ability to solve practical problems in public administration. Additionally, they are expected to have a strong foundation in the humanities and social sciences, innovative thinking, cross-cultural communication skills, an awareness of lifelong learning, a strong sense of social responsibility, and outstanding leadership skills.
