Educational Objectives:
Urban planning and management adheres to the training philosophy of specialization, distinctive features, and internationalization, while also adapting to the development trends of informatization, globalization, and modernization of national governance. This program is based on the practical experience of urban management in China and takes full advantage of the disciplines of economics, management, and law at the Central University of Finance and Economics. The program aims to cultivate high-level urban management professionals who have comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor, possess modern urban management thinking, solid urban planning and management theories, and strong public policy analysis capabilities with financial and economic characteristics. Graduates of this program are versatile professionals who can engage in planning, policy analysis, and strategic management work in comprehensive departments such as urban and regional construction planning, economic development planning enterprises, government management departments, urban construction investment and financing enterprises, government management departments, and urban public policy research and consulting departments.
